In order to end the tension ignited days ago in Kanaker town, a Russian delegation meets with the area’s dignitaries and notables

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that a delegation of 5 Russian officers has visited Kanaker town in the western Rif Dimashq.

The delegation met with the reconciliation members, the area’s dignitaries and former military commanders in the ranks of the factions, and demanded them to raise their requests in order to end the state of tension witnessed in the towns for days, after the spreading of anti-regime writings on the town’s walls, in addition to a vigil demanded the release of detainees and the Iranian militias to leave Syria.

SOHR monitored on December 3, a vigil organized by some of locals of “Kanaker” town in the Western Ghouta in Rif Dimashq.

According to information obtained by SOHR; the protesters lifted signboards wrote on them “Detainees first and the other cases later”, “we will never forget the detainees”, “Syria is free .. Iran has to get out” and “death rather than humiliation .. we will never give up the detainees”.

On November 24, SOHR monitored that unknown people wrote on walls of houses in Kanaker town in Rif Dimashq, where they wrote statements demanding detainees in prisons of the regime forces to be released, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored some of the phrases written on the walls, they read:” We want the detainees -you traitors- we want detainees, our first case is the case of detainees, our souls are for you detainees.”
