5 casualties and injuries including members of the “Civil Defense” in the explosion of a mine from the remnants of the Syrian war near their center in the northwestern countryside of Hama

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented today the death of 3 members of the Civil Defense and the injury of 2 others including a child, in the explosion of a mine from the remnants of war at the Civil Defense Center in Qastun village, in the northwestern countryside of Hama, it worth mentioning that the explosion took place in the engineering department of the disposing of the unexploded ammos.

Raising to 236, including 65 women and 66 children, the number of people who were killed by mines and IED explosions, and in the collapse of buildings cracked by the remnants several areas of the Syrian territory in Homs, Hama, and Deir Ezzor since the beginning of January 2019 until today, and among the total number of casualties the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 44 people including 30 women and 5 children during their search and collection of the truffle which grows in the areas that is subjected to heavy rain, and it is sold at very high prices.
