The former battalions of “Jaysh al-Azza” announces the formation of the “5th Division” and joins “al-Sham Corps”
Several battalions which had defected from the “Jaysh al-Azza” formerly, announced a new military formation called “5th Division”, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received their statement, it reads: “Based on the objectives of our revolution and believing in the justice of our cause, and in recognition of the national duty, we, the brigades and battalions of: Central Force Brigade, al-Hamza Brigade, Ahrar al-Ezza Brigade, 1st Infantry Brigade, Shuhada’a al-Atareb Brigade, Shuhada’a Hazzano Battalion, Nusour Morek Brigade, Special Task Battalion, M.D. Company, the Artillery Company, we declare the Formation of the 5th Division, we also join the ranks of al-Sham Corps of the components of the National Liberation Front, to achieve the objectives of our revolution in overthrowing the regime and achieving freedom and justice.
