ISIS continues its activity in the Syrian desert and targets a military vehicle of the “regime forces”

The Syrian Observatory learned from several sources that several members of the “regime forces” were injured yesterday morning, due to the explosion of a landmine in a military vehicle carrying them, and according to Syrian Observatory’s sources, the explosion took place on Sukhnah – Palmyra road.

This area has been witnessing frequent cases of targeting members of the regime forces and the Iranian militias, who follow this road as they move from the eastern areas to the capital Damascus, also ISIS cells are active in the desert area, and sources told the Syrian Observatory that an IED exploded in car on the same road, but no information about the extent of casualties so far.
