As a part of the mounting aerial bombardment on Idlib, about 40 barrel bombs and air strikes target Marrat Al-Nu’man and its countryside since morning

A citizen was killed after helicopters dropped barrel bombs on Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, where the province of Idlib has been witnessing heavy aerial bombardment by warplanes of the regime and the Russian guarantor.

Since morning, the helicopters dropped at least 15 barrel bombs on places in Al-Raffa, Qatrah, Al-Ghadqah, Maarshourin, Deir Gharbi, Al-Tah and Maarat Al-Nu’man and its outskirts.

Meanwhile, the Russian warplanes carried out more than 11 raids on areas in Al-Haraki, Deir Sharqi, the outskirts of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, Al-Halbeh and Babulin.

Also the regime’s warplanes carried out 12 raids on Tal Mannas, Al-Ghadqah, Babbila, the outskirts of Khan Al-Sabil and Jarjnaz.

For their part, the factions targeted positions of the regime forces in Al-Mshirfah and Tal Kalbah in the eastern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib with rocket shells, without information about casualties so far.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 868, the number of people who were killed since the last agreement of “Putin – Erdogan” on the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 18th of December 2019, and they are: 254 civilians including 72 children and 52 citizen women, and they are 104 including 35 children and 19 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 18 including 3 women and 6 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 47 including 6 children 9 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 71 people including 19 women and 20 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 14 citizens including 5 children and 2 women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 291 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 192 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 323 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

Thus, it rose to at least 4969, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 18th of December 2019, and they are: 1299 civilians including 332 children and 238 citizen women, and they are 330 including 79 children and 62 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 106 including 22 women and 21 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 584 including 160 children, 99 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 185 people including 39 women and 41 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 94 citizens including 31 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1956 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1279 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1714 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 18th of December 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5495 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1582 civilians including 413 children under the age of eighteen and 302 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 120 people including 34 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2042 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1311 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1871 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5731 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1665 civilians including 442 children and 316 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 121 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2109 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1415 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1955 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
