Young man detonates a grenade killing himself and a girl, in light of the increased insecurity and the spread of weapons in al-Suwaidaa Province
The Syrian provinces are witnessing the phenomenon of carrying and using weapons by some teenagers, reckless, and outlaws, it is also considered disturbing and troublesome phenomenon for the citizens, and an infringement on the security and freedoms of people, this negative phenomenon started penetrating the minds of young people, contributing greatly to the spread of crime, and in this context, a young man and a girl were killing and her father was injured today in Al-Suwaidaa province, after the young man detonated a bomb inside the house, and according to sources of the “Syrian Observatory,” the young man asked the man for his daughter’s hand serval times, by the parents rejected him, it worth mentioning that al-Suwaidaa province witnesses similar cases every now and then.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 15th of December 2019 that unknown people kidnapped a citizen today near Shahba city, where sources confirmed to the “Syrian Observatory” that the abducted person is of the tribes of al-Suwaidaa and that he was returning from his work in sheep herding.
It worth mentioning that Daraa and al-Suwaidaa provinces have been witnessed kidnappings and exchanges, while local sources confirmed that “regime’s intelligence is behind these operations.”
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that an armed group attacked a military checkpoint of the “regime forces” on the highway of Damascus – al-Suwaidaa near Om al-Zaytoun village north of al-Suwaidaa province, where clashes broke out between members of the checkpoint and the attacking gunmen, which killed a member of the regime forces at least and injured others, and information about the death of one of the attackers.
The Syrian Observatory monitored on the 30th of November 2019 that locals of Al-Suwaidaa province found a young man shot dead and his body was dumped on the road to “Zahr Al-Jabal”, after he was kidnapped 2 days ago by unidentified persons near Al-Omran Roundabout in Al-Suwaidaa, sources informed the Syrian Observatory that the killed person was accused of kidnapping actions in Al-Suwaidaa.
