A member of the 4th Division found dead in his house in a neighborhood loyal to the regime in Damascus

Damascus Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights the body of a member of the 4th Division was found dead yesterday, Tuesday, after being stabbed with a sharp tool, in his house in the neighborhood of Al-Mazza 86.

Sources informed the Syrian Observatory that he was subjected to several killing attempts, the last of which was the booby-trapping of his motorcycle, it is noteworthy that the member is from Sallamiyyah city and lives in the neighborhood of Al-Mazza 86, which is one of the regime-loyal neighborhoods and most of its inhabitants are officers and military personnel.

SOHR reported on December 16, that a violent explosion was heard in Aisha River area in the vicinity of the capital Damascus, and according to the “Syrian Observatory’s” sources, the explosion targeted the car of a leader of the NDF and a representative of the southern area, which caused him serious injuries, it worth mentioning that members of foreign militias of Iran are present in the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that local sources said that unidentified gunmen attacked a checkpoint of the regime forces this evening, on the outskirts of Douma city in Rif Dimashq, and according to sources of the Syrian Observatory, the sound of light machine guns were heard near the “Medical Tower” checkpoint of the State Security Branch, while the Syrian Observatory monitored a security alert among the regime forces in the area following the incident, but no information about casualties so far.

This attack is considered the first of its kind since the displacement of the oppositionist people of Rif Dimashq to the Syrian north.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 1st of December 2019 that violent explosion shook yesterday Zakyah town west of Rif Dimashq, and according to sources of the Syrian Observatory, the explosion was caused by an IED explosion at the main entrance to Zakyah town; while one of regime’s most prominent informants was passing through the area, who is accused of handing over a large number of young men who were former fighters in the ranks of the opposition factions to regime’s security branches after the factions left the area towards the Syrian north, but the explosion caused no casualties, while the town is witnessing a major security tightening by regime’s checkpoints inside and at its entrances, through thorough inspections of all pedestrians.
