With preliminary aerial and ground firepower, the regime forces take control of Um Jalal village, and more than 45 casualties among the members of the regime forces and jihadi factions

The regime forces and gunmen loyal to them managed to take control of Um Jalal village south-east of Idlib, after 3 successive attempts, accompanied by preliminary intensive aerial and ground bombardment, the village has a strategic importance as it enables the regime forces to control surrounding villages by firearm.

In connection to this, the number of casualties in the ranks of the factions raised to 29 members, while at least 17 members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them were killed.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 929, the number of people who were killed since the last agreement of “Putin – Erdogan” on the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 19th of December 2019, and they are: 269 civilians including 75 children and 56 citizen women, and they are 111 including 37 children and 21 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 19 including 3 women and 6 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 49 including 6 children 10 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 76 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 14 citizens including 5 children and 2 women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 320 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 223 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 340 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

Thus, it rose to at least 5030, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 19th of December 2019, and they are: 1314 civilians including 335 children and 242 citizen women, and they are 337 including 81 children and 64 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 107 including 22 women and 21 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 586 including 160 children, 100 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 187 people including 40 women and 41 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 94 citizens including 31 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1985 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1308 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1731 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 19th of December 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5556 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1597 civilians including 416 children under the age of eighteen and 306 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 120 people including 34 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2071 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1340 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1888 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5790 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1680 civilians including 445 children and 320 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 121 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2138 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1444 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1972 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
