Regime forces continue their advancement taking control of about 10 villages south-east Idlib .. more than 80 casualties in the ranks of both parties in 18 hours

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored continuation of violent clashes on several areas in the south-eastern sector of Idlib countryside, between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and the factions and jihadi groups on the other, where the regime forces managed under a cover of heavy aerial and ground bombardment, to take control of more areas raising the number of villages they imposed control over since yesterday evening to 9, they are: Um Jalal, Um Twinah, Al-Kharibah, Al-Rabiaa, Al-Sha’ra, Bernan, Sahal, Al-Ferja and Abu Habba.

SOHR documented more human losses in the ranks of both parties due to the aerial and ground bombardment and clashes, where it rose to 30, the number of casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and gunmen loyal, while 51 fighters were killed including 9 of the factions and the rest are of the jihadis.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 965, the number of people who were killed since the last agreement of “Putin – Erdogan” on the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 20th of December 2019, and they are: 270 civilians including 75 children and 56 citizen women, and they are 111 including 37 children and 21 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 19 including 3 women and 6 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 49 including 6 children 10 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 77 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 14 citizens including 5 children and 2 women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 342 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 234 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 353 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

Thus, it rose to at least 5066, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 20th of December 2019, and they are: 1315 civilians including 335 children and 242 citizen women, and they are 337 including 81 children and 64 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 107 including 22 women and 21 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 586 including 160 children, 100 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 191 people including 40 women and 41 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 94 citizens including 31 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 2007 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1321 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1744 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 20th of December 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5592 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1598 civilians including 416 children under the age of eighteen and 306 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 120 people including 34 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2093 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1353 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1901 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5826 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1681 civilians including 445 children and 320 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 121 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2160 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1457 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1985 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
