Unidentified drones target Homs refinery and gas fields, after 24 hours of “IS” attack on Homs desert gas station

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an aerial targeting that is still unknown to date, targeting al-Rayyan’s gas station, Homs refinery and the central region gas plant after midnight Friday – Saturday, targeting was carried out by drones, which led to outbreak of fire in the above-mentioned areas after some pipes and furnaces to improve the petroleum materials exploded, no casualties were reported, the Syrian Observatory reported yesterday that a violent attack carried out by members of the “Islamic State” on a site of “Syrian regime” Homs’s desert, according to the Observatory’s sources, “IS” members attacked on Thursday evening a gas station about 12 km from al-Hill gas field located in the desert of Homs near the administrative border of Deir ez-Zor province, where “IS” members managed to kill 14 soldiers of regime forces, including a lieutenant, as well as four civilians workers at the station were killed by IS’s members.
