The regime forces try to advance into the eastern countryside of Idlib – more than 140 air strikes target the “de-escalation” zone

Clashes have been still continuing in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib between the factions and HTS against the regime forces and their loyalists. The regime is trying to advance in Al-Haraky area, amid intensive raids on the clash areas and other places in the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man.

Thus, the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Tal Mannas, Deir Sharqi, Deir Gharbi, Al-Tah, Jarjnaz, Al-Ghadfa, Harran, Maaysarunah, Al-Halba, as well as the clash areas in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, and the area of Kabani in Latakia countryside raised to 56.

While the number of raids by the regime warplanes on Saraqib, tal Mannas, Al-Deir Al-Sharqi, Harran, Mardin, Al-Halba, Al-Burj, Al-Qarati and Al-Haraki in Idlib countryside, as well as Kabani in Latakia countryside rose to 50.

For their part, the Russian warplanes targeted Al-Najiyah and Halaban in Idlib countryside, Kabani in Latakia countryside, and the vicinity of Darat Izza and Jazraya in Aleppo countryside with 28 raids.

SOHR also monitored that the regime forces have become 4 km away from the Turkish observation point in “al-Sarman,” also, the number of villages that have been controlled by the regime forces since yesterday evening increased to 15, after they imposed their control over Al-Qatrah.

Besides, the death toll of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them raised to 19, while the death toll of the factions and the Jihadis who were killed after since midnight until now increased to 17, raising the death toll of both parties since the beginning of the clashes two days ago to 148, they are: 61 of the regime forces and their loyal militias, 87 fighters including 15 of the factions, and the rest of them are jihadi.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1051, the number of people who were killed since the last agreement of “Putin – Erdogan” on the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 21st of December 2019, and they are: 284 civilians including 756 children and 60 citizen women, and they are 115 including 37 children and 22 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 19 including 3 women and 6 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 59 including 7 children 13 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 77 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 14 citizens including 5 children and 2 women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 378 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 264 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 389 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

Thus, it rose to at least 5152, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 21st of December 2019, and they are: 1329 civilians including 336 children and 246 citizen women, and they are 341 including 81 children and 65 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 107 including 22 women and 21 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 596 including 162 children, 100 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 191 people including 40 women and 41 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 94 citizens including 31 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 2043 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1351 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1780 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 21st of December 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5678 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1612 civilians including 417 children under the age of eighteen and 310 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 120 people including 34 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2129 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1383 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1937 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5912 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1695 civilians including 446 children and 324 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 121 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2196 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1487 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 2021 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
