With dozens of intensive air and ground strikes, regime forces try to reach Damascus-Aleppo international highway known as (M5)

Regime forces continue their intensive ground offensive by dozens of rocket-propelled grenades and artillery on Maar shamarin and Maar shamshwh in Maarat al-Numan countryside, amid bombing on the area by Russian warplanes, in order to allow regime forces to advance there and getting more closer to Damascus-Aleppo highway.

The Syrian Observatory reported during the past hours, that regime forces approached Aleppo-Damascus international highway, which passing through Maarat al-Numan city, getting within four kilometers close to the highway, expanding their areas of control within 100 hours since the start of the military operation on Thursday evening, 19th of this month, to include 46 areas ,Um Jalal, Um Al-Twaina, Al-Khariba, Al-Rabia, Al-Sharaa, Bernan, Sahal, Al-Farajeh, Abu Habeh, Al-Rafeh, Al-Serj, Haran, Al-Sayyadi, Tal Dam, Katra, Tal Al Shiekh, Al-Sahra and Hill. Sheikh al-Brisa, Al-Ali Farm, Al-Burj, Haraki, Al-Haraki, Ta’aya, Al-Brisa, Mazraat Ali, Al-Burj, Al-Hiraki, Al-Minthar, Tahtaya, Al-Halbeh, Karsatneh, Al-Maysruna, Sakiya, Al-Tah, Al-Sarman, Abu Makki, Babulin, Maraata, Faalul, Al Haditha and kafr Basin, Al-Mitrawa, Khirbet al-Sarouni, Al-Bustan, Al-Maasara, Khirbet Arnabeh, Misbeta, Abu Sharji, Belka, Talmens and Al-Ghadqa, in addition Mazaari Saghir.
