As part of the security chaos in the province, attempted assassination targets a leader of a kidnapping gang in al-Suwaidaa countryside

Al-Suwaidaa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Al-Suwaidaa province has been witnessing a state of continuous security chaos, where sources told the Syrian Observatory that unknown gunmen opened fire on the car of a leader of one of the kidnapping gangs in “Ariqa” town in the countryside of al-Suwaidaa, which caused material damage but no information about casualties.

The Syrian Observatory monitored on the 23rd of December 2019 that the Syrian Observatory learned that unknown people kidnapped a doctor, who is the director of Salkhad hospital in al-Suwaidaa countryside last night, where sources reported that his car was found in Rasas village, but no additional info as to who kidnaped him.

On December 22, the Syrian Observatory monitored an assassination targeted a member of the regime forces in the western countryside of al-Suwaidaa, and according to the “Syrian Observatory’s” information, unidentified gunmen opened fire at a regime forces’ member in Samma town in the western countryside of al-Suwaidaa, which led to his immediate death.
