15 persons killed or wounded in targeting by Russian warplanes to first-rank commanders of Ahrar Al-Sham in Maarrat Al-Nu’man

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored that Russian warplanes targeted yesterday, Tuesday, a convoy of military gears affiliated to Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic Movement in the vicinity of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city in the southern sector of Idlib countryside.

The convoy included the movement’s commanding general with other first-rank commanders, as they were inspecting posts and positions of the Islamic faction in the vicinity of Maarrat Al-Nu’man.

The Russian airstrike killed a prominent Ahrar Al-Sahm sharia official known by his initials as A.K. Three other members were also killed in the targeting, while the movement’s leader survived.

First-rank commanders were among ten others injured in the targeting.
