Demonstration in Deir Ezzor countryside calls for improving living conditions and spending oil revenues on development projects for their areas

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today a demonstration in al-Busayrah city in Deir Ezzor countryside, demanding better living conditions and creating jobs for young people, also the protesters demanded that a portion of oil revenues to be allocated to the area’s development, it worth mentioning that the area is controlled by “SDF”.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 7th of December 2019 that a demonstration in Hawayij Ziab village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, to protest against the rise in fuel prices and call upon the Civil Council to improve the living conditions.

On December 4, SOHR monitored that the locals of Al-Busayrah city, Al-Sabha and Abriha in Deir Ezzor countryside, set tires on fire and blocked the roads to these towns, in protest against the ignoring to the area, and the locals demanded the allocation of sums of money from the oil revenues for developing the area.
