Russian and Turkish forces conduct a new joint patrol in eastern countryside of Ain al-Arab (Kobane)

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported seeing a new joint patrol between Turkish forces and their Russian counterparts within the northeastern region of Syria, where joint patrol set off from the village of Ghraib in the eastern countryside of Ain al-Arab (Kobane) and headed east towards the village of Ser Zuri in the western countryside of Tel Abyad city north of Raqqa city, and this patrol is the 18th of its kind since the joint patrols began in early November.

On The 23rd of this month, the Syrian Observatory has monitored seeing a new joint patrol between Russian forces and their Turkish counterparts in the western countryside of Derbasiya on Monday morning, where joint patrol set off from Sherik village located on the border strip with Turkey and patrolled many villages, Al-Kasra, Dahr al-Arab, Qirawan, Karkund, Haram, Rash and Atishan before returning to Sherik, the joint patrol also accompanied by two Russian helicopters that flew at low altitude over the region.
