With stoppage in aerial bombardment, clashes continue between regime forces against opposition factions in rural Maarrat Al-Nu’man

SOHR had learned fierce clashes in Deir Gharbi area in the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, between regime soldiers and loyalists against the factions and HTS. The clashes were accompanied by exchange of targeting and shelling.

Jihadi groups managed to recover posts into which regime forces advanced in the past few hours.

In connection to this, the regime forces shelled areas in Maarrshourin, Maarshamsheh, Tal Mannas and the vicinity of Maarrat Al-Nu’man.

Meanwhile, regime and Russian warplanes have been still halting operations.

SOHR reported yesterday that warplanes and helicopters have been still halting operations on the ‘de-escalation’ zone for 48 hours. Meanwhile the regime forces launched shells of heavy artillery targeting Marshamsha, Babulin, and al-Salhiya in Maarrat al-Nu’man countryside.

Checkpoints in the eastern countryside of Idlib are witnessing sporadic clashes, and the factions were able to destroy vehicles of the regime forces in al-Tah area in Idlib countryside. Also three members of the regime forces and their loyalist were killed.
