Hezbollah continues to recruit youth and men near border with the occupied Syrian Golan

SOHR sources reported that the Lebanese Hezbollah works hard on entrenching its influence in the Syrian South especially in Al-Quneitra province, near the border with the occupied Syrian Golan.

Hezbollah has been still trying to attract youth and men to join its ranks, by offering rewarding salaries and playing on people’s religious faith. “Shiism” operations are concentrated in al-Baath city and Khan Arnabah town.

For their part, men and youth turn to join Hezbollah-loyal militias to save themselves from being driven to compulsory and reserve service in the ranks of the regime forces, in addition to deteriorating living conditions and lack of job opportunities.

In September, SOHR reliable sources said that the forces of the Lebanese Hezbollah is continuing its efforts that aim to bring Al-Quneitra province under its full control, through the funds of powerful people in the area. In addition, it aims to impose its control over official establishments and departments through influential persons loyal to it in the area.

This is coincided with the ongoing recruitment of youth and men there. Members of Hezbollah are deployed across the province of Al-Quneitra and take al-Baath city and Khan Arnabah town as their headquarters.
