Regime intelligence arrests young men in Hujayrah south of Damascus after returning from Lebanon

Reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that the regime intelligence arrested a number of young men in Hujayrah town early this week, after a security campaign targeted people who returned to the town without obtaining security approvals.

Patrols of General Intelligence Department carried out a campaign of arrests in the town in search for wanted people over terrorism accusations.

The patrols raided several houses in the town’s eastern neighborhoods, where they arrested three young men after they had returned from Lebanon, on charge of belonging previously to opposition factions.

“State Security” branch grants security approvals to people who desire to return, after their relatives present a request. Security branches study the request in a period ranges between 30 to 90 days before granting the security approval.
