IRGC arrest about 15 of their affiliates as they refuse to be sent to Deir Ezzor Desert

Reliable SOHR sources confirmed that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) that are present in Deir Ezzor province, have arrested 13 of their affiliates who are from Al-Mayadin city.

The arrest came after they refused to be deployed in Deir Ezzor Desert which recently witnesses mounting activity of ISIS cells.

The arrested members have been taken to the IRGC command headquarters in Deir Ezzor city, amid ambiguity surrounding their fate.

The death toll rose to at least 309 members of the regime soldiers and loyalists of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, including at least two Russians, in addition to 37 of the Iranian militias of non-Syrian nationalities, have been all killed during attacks, bombings and ambushes by the “Islamic State” organization west of Euphrates in the deserts of Deir Ezzor, Homs, and Al-Suwaidaa since the 24th of March 2019, in addition to the killing of four citizens of those working in gas fields in attacks by ISIS whose death was documented by SOHR, also the Syrian Observatory documented the killing of 103 of the “Islamic State” Organization, of who were killed during the same period during attacks, shelling, and targeting.
