As part of the “popular uprising” in Daraa, demonstrations denounce “Erdogan’s” policy and Russia in Idlib, demand the release of detainees
Several demonstrations took place in Daraa countryside as the “popular uprising” continue in the area, where Nahta town east of Daraa, the “Syrian Observatory” monitored tens of young people today carrying out an evening demonstration, in solidarity with Idlib province and what the people there are suffering of shelling and displacement, and the demonstrators demanded the release of detainees from regime’s prisons, while another demonstration took place in al-Jiza town, where the demonstrators raised banners denouncing the policy of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the bombardment of the Russian warplanes on Idlib countryside.

On the evening of December 9, the Syrian Observatory monitored a demonstration in Maaraba town in Daraa countryside demanding the release of detainees and expelling Hizbullah from Syria.
Over the past week, an escalation of demonstrations was monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, as residents of Al-Karak al-Sharqi, Busr al-Harir, Maaraba, Al-Sharqiya, Naseeb, Daraa al-Balad, Tafas, Tssil and other areas of Daraa staged demonstrations during which they affirmed the principles of the Syrian revolution and demanded the release of detainees held in Syrian regime’s detention facilities and Iranians to leave Syria.
Russians were not spared Daraa’s uprising, where on November 29, residents of Daraa governorate expelled the Russian delegation who came to attend the funeral of the former leader of the opposition factions, who was assassinated a day earlier by unidentified gunmen west of Daraa. These demonstrations coincide with the continuous poor living and security conditions in Daraa governorate, where the state of chaos continues to worsen significantly, according to the Syrian Observatory.
