SOHR sources confirmed that the regime intelligence launched a campaign of raids and arrests in Saqba and Hamouriyah towns in the Eastern Ghouta in Rif Dimashq.

The campaign led to the arrest of 12 former members in “Al-Rahman Corps” opposition faction. These young men preferred to stay in the town after having their security situation settled with the regime, and refused to leave to North Syria.

According to a very reliable SOHR source, Air Force Intelligence branch stormed the young men’s houses and places where they work, and arrested them over accusations of killing regime soldiers during the factions control over the Eastern Ghouta.

As the same time, regime intelligence set up more than 20 checkpoints in Saqba and Hamouriyah towns where they inspected passengers.
