Intensive aerial bombardment continues on Maarrat Al-Nu’man leaving casualties

The Syrian Observatory has documented the death of a civil defense member as a result of air strikes by regime warplanes on Maarrat Al-Nu’man countryside in the southern sector of Idlib countryside. The bombardment also left injuries.

In the same context, regime helicopters dropped barrel bombs Maarshourin, Deir Gharbi, Tal Mannas and Maarrat Al-Nu’man city.

Meanwhile, regime warplanes renewed their air strikes on Idlib countryside targeting Maar Dibsah, Tal Mannas and Maarrat Al-Nu’man, they also targeted Mantaf village in Jabal Al-Zawiya where there is a route that civilians use instead of Damascus – Aleppo International Highway, and it links between Maarrat Al-Nu’man and the northern countryside of Idlib.

For their part, Russian warplanes renewed their aerial bombardment on towns and villages in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

SOHR reported hours ago, that Russian warplanes resumed their bombardment on “Putin – Erdogan” area as weather conditions are getting better. The Russian warplanes carried out 19 raids this morning through which they targeted places in IKARDA area, Um Atabah, Sheikh Ahmed, Tal Haddaya and Zammar in the southern countryside of Aleppo, Maarshorin and the vicinity of Al-Ghadfah in Maarrat Al-Nu’man countryside.

It is noteworthy that the targeted sites are located at the International Highway. The air strikes resulted in the injury of four civilians including a female in IKARDA area.

The regime warplanes also targeted places in Tal Mannas in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib.

In connection to this, the regime forces continue to bring military reinforcements to Aleppo countryside. Tens of military vehicles carrying soldiers, ammunition and weapons arrived over the past 48 hours in the southern countryside of Aleppo and the city’s western neighborhoods.
