Four killed, including two children in a booby-trapped vehicle explosion in Suluk town in northern rural Raqqah

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented more casualties as a result of the explosion that hit the town of Suluk in the northern countryside of Raqqa, the number of people killed raised to four, including two children and a woman who died in a booby-trapped explosion in the Turkey-held and Syrian proxies town.

21 explosions hit the Turkey-held and Syrian proxies areas in rural Raqqa and Hasakeh near the Syrian-Turkish border between late October and late December, the blasts were confined to limited areas: the city of Tal Abyad, the town of Suluk and the villages of Ain Arous and Hammam al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah, the city of Ras al-Ayn, the towns of Mabrouka and Tal Al-Half, and the village of Tel Khanzir in western rural Ras al-Ain, north of Hasakeh.

Fifteen of these blasts were carried out by car bombs and five others by motorcycle bombs by planting IED/mine, causing heavy casualties among civilians and Turkish-backed factions military personnel.

The Syrian Observatory documented the death of at least 72 people. 41 civilians, including a woman and ten children, 31 Fighters of Turkish-backed “National Army” factions, at least 193 civilians and military personnel were injured, some in serious condition and others permanently disabled.
