Old mine goes off in Daraa Al-Balad killing a civilian and injuring his son

SOHR has documented the death of a civilian and the injury of his son, due to the explosion of a mine of the war leftovers while they were collecting firewood for heating, in Wadi Al-Karak in Daraa Al-balad.

The number of people who were killed by mines and IED explosions and the collapse of cracked residential buildings in several areas of the Syrian territory in Homs, Hama, and Deir Ezzor since the beginning of January 2019 until today, rose to 243 people including 65 women and 68 children,

Among the total number of casualties the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 44 people including 30 women and 5 children, during their search and collection of the truffle which grows in the areas that is subjected to heavy rain, and it is sold at very high prices.
