Regime forces and factions trade fire in rural Idlib as aerial operations are still suspended

Frontlines in Al-Qasabiyah, Al-Kirkat, Al-Tah and Jarjnaz in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, are witnessing exchange of fire between the regime soldiers and loyalists against factions and jihadi groups, with using shells and heavy machineguns. Meanwhile normal calm prevailed the area during night hours, amid cessation of Russian and regime aerial operations on “Putin – Erdogan” zone.

Yesterday, SOHR monitored mobilizations of the regime forces at the frontlines in both Aleppo and Idlib countryside. SOHR sources said that columns of Regime Special Forces have departed the northern countryside of Hama and Latakia during the past few days and heading to Idlib and Aleppo.

Separately, SOHR has monitored cautious calm prevailing the frontline areas in the southern and eastern countryside of Idlib, after an attack carried out this morning by rebel and jihadi factions on Jarjnaz and Al-Tah caused no changes on the map of influence.
