Unknown assailants attack one of regime forces “military barracks” in western rural Daraa

Daraa Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR confirmed that an armed attack carried out by unknown assailants through machine guns on Tafas military barracks took place in western rural Daraa, after midnight Friday – Saturday, without reported any casualties so far, as attacks continue to escalate throughout Daraa governorate.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from June to date, to more than 241 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period raised to 166 persons: 27 civilians, including four women and two children, in addition to 87 members of regime forces and loyalists and collaborators with regime security services, 29 members of opposition faction who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime, and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 16 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia.
