Ground shelling continues on Maarrat Al-Nu’man as aerial operations still suspended for ten hours

SOHR has documented the death of a young man affected by the injury he had in a raid by Russian warplanes on Khan Al-Sabil about 20 days ago.

Separately, aerial operations have been still suspended for more than 10 hours due to the poor weather conditions.

On the other hand, the regime forces fired tens of artillery and rocket shells on Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, Tal Mannas, Babulin, Al-Salihiyah, Kafr Basin, Taqanah, Maarshourin and Maarshamsheh in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib.

Meanwhile, the regime forces stationed in Al-Wadihi village in the southern countryside of Aleppo, shelled positions of the factions in Khalseh village in the same countryside.

SOHR reported this afternoon, that that the Russian warplanes carried out several air strikes this afternoon on “Putin – Erdogan” zone, targeting places in the vicinity of Maraand in the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shugur, and other places in Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1374, the number of people who were killed since the last agreement of “Putin – Erdogan” on the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, and they are: 324 civilians including 88 children and 64 citizen women, and they are 141 including 43 children and 24 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 21 including 3 women and seven children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 61 including seven children 13 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 87 people including 22 women and 26 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 14 citizens including five children and two women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 501 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 361 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 549 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

It rose to at least 5475, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, and they are: 1369 civilians including 348 children and 250 citizen women, and they are 367 including 87 children and 67 women, and nine of the civil defense and six of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 109 including 22 women and 22 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 598 including 162 children, 103 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 201 people including 42 women and 46 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 94 citizens including 31 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 2166 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1448 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1940 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today; the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 6001 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1652 civilians including 429 children under the age of eighteen and 314 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 120 people including 34 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2252 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1480 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 2097 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 6235 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1735 civilians including 458 children and 328 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 121 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2319 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1584 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 2181 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
