New armed clash flares up among Turkish-backed factions near Al-Bab city

SOHR sources have reported about new armed fighting among the Turkish-backed factions within their controlled areas in Aleppo countryside.

Clashes flared up yesterday after midnight, between Ahrar al-Sharqiyyah against Ahrar Al-Sham, on the road to Al-Ra’i near Al-Bab city in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.

Reasons for the fighting have yet to be known. It is noteworthy that these clashes come two days after similar fighting north-east of Aleppo.

SOHR reported on Friday that that clashes erupted between members of the 9th Division against other members of al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah, using machineguns.

SOHR sources have reported that a dispute flared up in Jarabulus area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, over controlling the crossing at the border with Turkey. The clashes resulted in the killing of a member of al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah and left many civilians injured.

SOHR has learned that supports and military mobilizations came from different areas to fight in the side of the 9th Division.
