As factions target regime positions in rural Idlib, helicopters drop barrel bombs on Maarrat al-Nu’man countryside
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented today the death of a person affected by wounds he had in rocket shelling targeted al-Janudiyyeh town about a month ago.
While the jihadi factions bombed positions of the regime forces in al-Tah town, also, the rebel factions targeted the regime forces in Jarjanaz town in rural Maarrat al-Nu’man.
At the same time, several helicopters dropped barrel bombs on villages of al-Dier al-Sharqi, Marshmarin, Marshamsha, Talmanas, and Marshourin in Maarrat al-Nu’man countryside.
Raising the number of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Ma’saran, Maarrat al-Nu’man, Maarrat al-Nu’man, Marshamsha, al-Ghadqa, Kafruma, Marshourin, Marshmarin, Deir Sharqi, and Deir Gharbi to 44, while the number of strikes carried out by regime’s warplanes of raids and targeting by heavy machineguns increased to 43, they targeted areas in Saraqib and its surroundings, Maarrat al-Nu’man city and its surroundings, Damascus – Aleppo International Highway, al-Deir al-Sharqi, al-Dier al-Gharbi, Ma’saran, Ihsim, Hantutin, Ariha, Marshmarin, and Marshourin in Idlib countryside, and al-Zerba town in the southern countryside of Aleppo.
This morning, the Russian warplanes carried out 11 raids on Ma’saran and al-Ghadqa in Maarrat al-Nu’countryside, while the number of missile and artillery shells launched by the regime forces today increased to 350, where they targeted the eastern, southern, and southeastern countryside of Idlib, Aleppo countryside, and Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia.
The Syrian Observatory also documented tens of injuries and casualties in air and ground strikes, where 9 people were killed in bombing by regime’s warplanes on Ariha, a woman was killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes of Saraqib outskirts, and two children were killed in shelling by the regime forces targeted Berneh village in Aleppo’s southern countryside, the shelling also left more than 47 people injured in serval areas, and some of them are in serious condition.
