Regime helicopters target Maarrat Al-Nu’man with barrel bombs

The Syrian Observatory has reported that the regime helicopters dropped barrel bombs on areas in Maarrat Al-Nu’man city in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Meanwhile, factions and jihadi groups targeted positions and military gears of the regime forces in Jarjnaz east of Idlib city and information was reported about casualties.

SOHR reported this morning, that a rocket attack carried out by regime forces, targeting areas in the city of Maarat al-Numan and its surrounding.

While a cautious calm prevails throughout the “de-escalation” zone, with cessation of aerial operations by Russia and Syrian regime due to bad weather in the area.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory learned that regime forces continue to bring military reinforcement to their positions in rural Aleppo with a potential for a military operation in southern rural Aleppo, may begin within the next few hours or days.

SOHR reported, yesterday, that a column of nearly ten military vehicles affiliated to the “National Army” entered areas dominated by HTS and factions in Idlib via Darat Izza crossing in Aleppo. It headed to the frontline areas in Idlib to enhance its presence there.
