Clashes flare up among regime allied militias in Western Qalamoun over “drugs trafficking” dispute

SOHR sources have reported that fierce armed fighting flared up in the town of Felita in the Western Qalamoun, between armed members of the “Lebanese Hezbollah” and NDF.

According to SOHR sources, clashes took place last Friday between both parties with use of medium weapons, and lasted for hours.

The clashes were concentrated at Al-Aqabah checkpoint of the NDF near the barren mountains of Felita and extended to barren mountains under control of militiamen loyal to “Hezbollah”. They left 7 injuries in the ranks of both parties.

SOHR sources reported that the fighting flared up against the backdrop of disputes over the profit of drugs trafficking between commanders of the NDF and commanders loyal to Hezbollah.
