Five Turkish soldiers were killed in the explosion of two booby-trapped vehicles in Um Ishbah and Al-Arba’in villages in rural Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kaniye). Turkey acknowledged the death of four soldiers.

The explosions also left at least nine Turkish soldiers injured, in which they were hospitalized in Turkey.

Yesterday, SOHR reported that two explosions hit areas under control of the Turkish forces and their proxies in the area of North-east Syria.

The first was a booby-trapped vehicle explosion in Al-Arba’in village in Ras Al-Ain countryside (Sere Kaniye). The second explosion was also caused by a booby-trapped vehicle in Um Oshbah village in the same countryside.

There is confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of the Turkish forces and their loyal factions as ambulances were monitored transporting injuries to Turkey. Also the two explosions took place near posts affiliated to the Turks and factions.
