Indiscriminate gunshots kill two civilians as clashes continue among Turkish-backed factions near Al-Bab city

Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR has documented the death of two civilians after being hit with indiscriminate gunshots against the backdrop of the armed fighting between Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah faction against al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah.

Clashes are still underway between both parties on the road to Al-Ra’i in between the areas of Al-Bab abd Sosyan in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.

SOHR sources confirmed hours ago that the fighting flared up against the backdrop of a dispute between both factions over smuggling cattle to the regime controlled areas.

Al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah arrested nearly 13 members of Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah and confiscated vehicles carrying cattle that was heading towards areas under regime control. Then, Ahrar Al-Sharqiyah brought military reinforcement to the area where clashes flared up.

The fierce clashes left casualties in the ranks of both parties, amid a state of tension prevailing the area.
