The regime brings military reinforcement to Aleppo and shells both Idlib and Hama countryside hours after ceasefire truce came into effect

Regime military reinforcement arrived in frontline areas in the western and southern countryside of Aleppo. It was coincided with the closure of Al-Mansourah commercial crossing by the regime forces. The crossing is linking the factions-held areas in the western countryside of Aleppo to Aleppo city that is under control of the regime.

Ob the other hand, regime forces shelled areas in Maarrat Al-Nu’man countryside in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, and Al-Hwaijah village in the north-western countryside of Hama. No information was reported so far about casualties.

Cautious calm has been prevailing the four sectors of the “de-escalation” zone for hours, intercepted by artillery shelling on the contested areas every now and then. This calm came as the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the ceasefire agreed upon with Turkey to be go into effect at 14:00 local time, in the area of Idlib north-west of Syria.
