“Salhiya” crossing between areas of the regime and SDF north of Deir Ezzor is opened

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the opening of al-Salhiya crossing north of Deir Ezzor city, which links regime forces’-controlled areas in al-Salhiya town with the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas at the “7 km” roundabout, while smuggling operations are active between these areas through crossings and Illegal crossings.

The Syrian Observatory monitored on the 8th of January 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the spread of Russian military police patrols in areas controlled by the regime and the Iranian militias northeast Syria, sources told the Syrian Observatory that the Russian military police vehicles also spread on the road between al-Mayadin city and Boqruss town in Deir Ezzor countryside, but no information so far about the reasons.
