The residents of Qameshly mourned today two YPG fighters, who were killed in bombardment by a Turkish drone yesterday, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored yesterday targeting by Turkish drones for a former headquarters of the Syria Democratic Forces in the area between al-Qahtaniyah and Doker village west of it, which caused injuries.

On the 9th of January 2020, the Syrian Observatory monitored Turkish drones targeting a checkpoint affiliated to Syria Democratic Forces at the entrance of Ain Issa town in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah. The targeting resulted in the injury of one member at least.

Sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the targeting happened before the very eyes of the Russian forces stationed at nearly 200 m from the targeted site.
