Demonstrators denounce practices of the “Salvation Government” and “Al-Julani” in Killi town

Tens of people participated in a demonstration in Killi town in the northern countryside of Idlib, denouncing the practices of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) and its leader “Abu Mohammed Al-Julani”. They also demanded the HTS and its “Salvation Government” get out of the town.

On January 8, SOHR activists monitored a demonstration including tens of people, in Killi town in Idlib countryside, in which the demonstrators chanted slogans oppose Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and its political arm, aka the “Rescue Government”, they also demanded the release of people detained by it.

In the meantime, graffiti was seen in walls of Idlib city, demanding the downfall of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the factions.

Another demonstration including tens of women and children, went out on January 4 in Killi town in the northern countryside of Idlib. The demonstrators demanded the toppling of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and its leader “al-Joulani,” and demanded that HTS leave the town, because of authoritarian nature of HTS and its arrest of all who oppose it.
