Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Daraa province is witnessing widespread discontent among the citizens, due to the insecurity of kidnapping, killing, bombing, and the continued arrests made by the security branches and its members, as a clear message for the continuation of repression and enforced absence of people.
In this context, a demonstration took place in al-Arba’in neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad today, while receiving the abductees after they were released from prisons of the Military Intelligence Division.
Sources said that the kidnapping gang works for the military intelligence in Daraa led by a former leader of “Shabab al-Sunna” faction, who became part of the “Military Security” after a “reconciliation and settlement” he made.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 17th of January the abduction of two brothers in Daraa al-Balad of Daraa city, by the aforementioned former leader who became a member of the “military security” after a “reconciliation and settlement” he made, where the two men were taken to an unknown destination until now, and no information about the reasons and motives of the abduction.
