Turkish-backed militiamen assault a teller and steal his money in Afrin
Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Syrian Observatory activists monitored an armed robbery by the Turkish backed faction “Al-Hamzat Division” in Al-Asharfiyah neighborhood in Afrin city center.
The activists told SOHR that dispute flared up between members of Al-Hamzat Division and a currency teller over disagreement about the exchange rate of the Syrian pound against the U.S. dollar.
The dispute developed as armed members within the Turkish-backed division stormed the currency exchange company and stole 2300 USD by force, then they escaped.
