Turkish Forces and their loyal factions shell strategic Om al-Kief village in Tal Tamr countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today artillery shelling by the Turkish Forces and their loyal factions targeting Om al-Kief village, which is in Tal Tamr countryside in Hasakah rural, but no information about casualties so far, it worth mentioning that Om al-Kief village is located on the road between Ras al-Ayn and Tal Tamr from the northern side.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 16th of January 2019 that sources close to SDF informed the Syrian Observatory that Turkish forces and Syrian proxies’ factions carried out a rocket attack on SDF-held villages in rural Tall Abyad city north of Raqqa city, no casualties were reported to date.

Sources added that exchange of fire took place between Turkish forces and SDF on the frontlines of rural Tall Tamr town in Al-Hasakah province, accompanied with Turkish shelling on Om al-Kief village. No casualties were reported so far.

On the 12th of this month, SOHR reported that violent clashes occurred in Om al-Kief silos area in rural Tall Tamr, between SDF on one hand, and the “National Army” factions on the other, in an attack carried out by Turkish-backed ”National Army” on Sunday morning, accompanied with shelling and exchange of targeting where the clashes lasted for two hours.
