Unknown assailants kill member of the Turkish-backed “Free Police” in Al-Bab
SOHR sources confirmed the killing of a member of the Turkish-backed “Free Police”, after being shot by unknown gunmen on the road to Akhtarin town in Al-Bab city, north-west of Aleppo.
On January 16, Syrian Observatory activists documented the killing of two commanders in “al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah” of the 3rd Corps of the Turkish-backed “National Army”. They were shot dead by unknown gunmen, on the road to Qandarat village near Jarabulus town in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.
On January 2, SOHR activists documented the killing of four members of the Turkish-backed division of “al-Mu’tasim”, in an assassination by unknown gunmen targeted them in Afrin city in the north-western countryside of Aleppo.
The attackers targeted one of the division’s checkpoints at the entrance of Afrin city, from the side of Al-Basutah village of Shirawa Township. The attack also resulted in the injury of another member.
