kidnapping and killing a person close the Turks north Aleppo triggers security alert among the Turkish-backed factions
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today a security alert in Soran area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, after a former head of the Soran Town Council was kidnapped and killed, where he was targeted in his car in Sheikh Rih village, which injured his father who was with him, while the body of the first was found lying near the kidnapping place.
The Turkish-backed Factions of al-Shamiyyah Front and Mohammad al-Fatih Brigade spread in the area immediately after the incident.
The victim was close to the Turkish forces north of Aleppo.
Also today the SOHR sources confirmed the killing of a member of the Turkish-backed “Free Police”, after being shot by unknown gunmen on the road to Akhtarin town in Al-Bab city, north-west of Aleppo.
On January 16, Syrian Observatory activists documented the killing of two commanders in “al-Jabha al-Shamiyyah” of the 3rd Corps of the Turkish-backed “National Army”. They were shot dead by unknown gunmen, on the road to Qandarat village near Jarabulus town in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.
