Daraa residents call for protests tomorrow against the regime forces and their practices and to demand the release of detainees

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: residents of Daraa province called for popular protests in the Eastern Karak town and Jassim city on Monday, to denounce the continuous violations of the regime forces against the people, and break their promises to release detainees of Daraa from their prisons.

The Syrian Observatory monitored on the 13th of January 2020 that the Syrian Observatory monitored a protest in al-Karak town in Daraa countryside, carried out by tens of young men who demanded the release of detainees in prisons of the regime.

The Syrian Observatory monitored on the 3rd of January 2019 that the SOHR sources confirmed that tens of people participated in a demonstration in “Bosra Al-Sham” in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

The demonstrators lifted signboards demanding the release of detainees held in the regime prisons and basements. They also chant slogans show solidarity with Idlib province and called for an instant cessation of the Russian and regime bombardment on civilians.

On December 29, SOHR sources reported seeing new graffiti in Daraa governorate, where the residents of Nawa city wrote new writings on the walls of the city, in solidarity with the humanitarian disaster in Idlib, and condemning military operations of the regime and Russia there.
