Regime forces continue their violent offensives in rural Aleppo and Idlib, seizing more positions east of Saraqeb town

Violent clashes continue on several frontlines in eastern and south-eastern rural Idlib, and other frontlines in western rural Aleppo, between regime forces and loyalists on one hand, and opposition factions and jihadist groups on the other.

Syrian Observatory sources report that regime forces made new advances, capturing Tal Khatra, Abu Jreif and Tal Mustaif east of Saraqeb and south of Ma’rat al-Numan.

Regime forces were able to cut off a road known as Souk Al Ghanam or Al Deir road, which connects Ma’rat al-Numan to the eastern countryside, while regime forces are now monitoring the eastern part of the city and other neighborhoods, after the recent advances they made in the area, with two km away from the city, after capturing Ma’ar Shamarin, Al Dier Sharqi and Al Dier Gharbi, and other positions.

Meanwhile, intensive air raids continued with dozens of airstrikes, Russian jets targeted places in Al-Ais, the vicinity of al-Kamari, Al-Zarba and Kafr Hamra in rural Aleppo, Ma’rat al-Numan and countryside, Khan al-Subol and other areas east of Idlib.

Regime helicopters also dropped barrel-bombs on Khalsa, Al-Humayra, Al-Qarasi, Berna, Zetan and Khan Touman in southern rural Aleppo, and Kafr Batikh in rural Saraqe and Ma’rat al-Numan and countryside.

Similarly, regime jets targeted Al-Ais and Al-Kamari in southern rural Aleppo, Ma’rat al-Numan and villages and towns in the eastern countryside, as well as the frontlines of eastern rural Idlib and western rural Aleppo.
