SDF kills armed thief west of Deir ez-Zor and angry relatives attack SDF checkpoint

Deir ez-Zor governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Last night, the Syrian Democratic Forces raided a house where an armed thief was hiding in Al-Hassan village in western rural Deir ez-Zor. During the raid, a shooting took place between the raiding force and the thief, in which the thief was killed and his brother was injured.
Their relatives reacted to the incident by attacking the municipal checkpoint in Al-Hassan village, west of Deir ez-Zor, and burning the checkpoint after SDF members escaped from the checkpoint, “in retaliation” to their relative.
