Unidentified jets target Turkish-controlled areas near the M4 highway in rural Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources reported this evening that unidentified jets targeted positions of Turkish-backed factions in Laylan and Al-Manajir near the M4 highway. No information about casualties were reported so far.

Reliable sources informed SOHR this afternoon that unidentified drones targeted positions of Turkish-backed factions in Al-Kharitah and Al-Qasimiyah villages in Tal Tamr countryside. The targeting killed at least eight fighters of the factions amid information about fatalities among the Turkish soldiers.

On January 24, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from reliable sources that the Turkish-backed factions started a violent shelling using heavy weapons targeting the western front in Tal Abyad. Syrian Observatory activists monitored shelling from inside the Turkish territory targeted Salimah village and several other villages.

Sources indicated that large crowds of the so-called “National Army” factions which are backed by Turkey, are gathering heavy weapons in the area of the mills in Tal Abyad countryside preparing for a wide-scale attack on the western front of Tal Abyad, amid information about their intention to go towards Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) city.
