14 persons killed in Idlib and Aleppo, nearly 300 airstrikes hit the “de-escalation” zone amid continuing heavy battles

SOHR sources report that Russian jets carried out several raids targeting the town of Urem al-Kubra in western rural Aleppo, killing three civilians and injuring five others.

The Syrian Observatory documented the death of a civilian as a result of raids by regime jets nearby Al-Mastuma town in rural Idlib.

Meanwhile, violent clashes continue between regime forces and loyalists on one side, opposition factions and jihadist groups on the other, on the southern and western frontlines of rural Aleppo and the eastern and south-eastern rural Idlib.

Observatory sources added that heavy airstrikes still continued. The number of airstrikes carried out by Russian jets increased to 96, targeting Urem al-Kubra, Khan al-Asal, Al-Barqum, Aleppo-Damascus international highway in rural Aleppo, Saraqeb and nearby Kafr Batikh and Dadikh in rural Idlib.

The number of raids carried out by regime jets also increased to 147, targeting Al-Mustumma, Jabal al-Arbaeen, areas in Jabal al-Zawiya, Saraqeb and surroundings, the international highway in Idlib countryside and the areas of clashes in Aleppo countryside.

The number of barrel-bombs dropped by helicopters rose to 52, targeting rural Idlib and Aleppo and areas of clashes. The number of people killed in airstrikes by Russian and regime jets on Aleppo and Idlib has risen to 14, eight persons of whom seven people of the same family, including four children and three women were killed by barrel-bombs on Sarmin.

One woman killed by Russian raids on Al-Atareb city, and a child as a result of regime jets airstrikes on the outskirts of Bench city, east of Idlib, and three civilians were killed in Russian airstrikes on Urem al-Kubra town, and one civilian killed as a result of regime jets bombing nearby Al-Mastuma town.
