Nearly 10 civilians killed or injured in Kurdish rocket fire on Afrin
Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Syrian Observatory sources reported that the Turkish forces stationed in the northern countryside of Aleppo fired several rockets targeting Al-Ithad School, Al-Sharia School and some residential neighborhoods in the Turkish-controlled city of Afrin, north west of Aleppo.
The shelling killed one civilian and injured eight others, before the Turkish forces responded by rocket shelling targeting Maraanaz and Menagh Military Airbase that are under control of Kurdish forces, north of Aleppo city.
Yesterday, SOHR sources monitored rocket shelling by the “Turkish Forces” from their bases in Afrin countryside and Azaz.
The shelling targeted areas where the “Kurdish forces” are deployed in Mar’anaz and Shawargha north of Aleppo, and al-Alqamiyyeh, al-Irshadiyyeh of Sharra Township in Afrin countryside in the north-western countryside of Aleppo. No casualties were reported about.
