Regime forces encircle the strategic town of Saraqeb from three directions
SOHR sources report that airstrikes renewed on Idlib province. Russian jets consecutively carried out intensive raids since Wednesday morning, on areas in Sarmin, Qominas and other areas within the areas of Ariha- Idlib city – Saraqeb, in addition to villages in western rural Aleppo, where places in those areas were also bombed by regime forces and other places in Kafrnbel, Hass, Deir Sonbul, Mantaf and Kansafra.
Meanwhile, regime forces continue advancing towards the strategic town of Saraqeb in eastern rural Idlib, with the advances made during yesterday, regime forces are about one km away from Saraqeb, encircling it from three directions, eastern, southern and western, bringing the roads of the town under their fire range from those directions.
Only the northern side of the town left in case opposition factions within Saraqeb decide to withdraw from it. Regime movement come amid Turkish threats and after the recent deployment of Turkish points near Saraqeb.
The number of areas that have been captured by regime forces, since Friday evening 24th of this month, rose to 77, (Telmans, Ma’ar Shmasha, Dier Sharqi, Dier Gharbi, Ma’arshamarin, Ma’rata, Al-Ghadfa, Marshourin, Al-Za’alana, Al-Dana, Tal Al-Sheikh, Sawami’e, Khirbet Mzayan, Masaran, Bsida and Taqana, Babolin, Kafr Bassin, Ma’arhatat, Hamidia, Dar es Salaam, Salhiya, Kafruma, Ma’rat al-Numan, Wadi Al-Dayif, Hantotin, al-Jarada, Ruwayha, Qahiriya, Ain Halban, Tal al-Dibis, Khan al-Sobul and Ma’ardabsi, Tal Mardikh, Jobas, Hertamia, Qamhana, Abu-Jreif, Tal Khatra, Tal Mastif, Al Kana’yes, Karsian, Hish, Kafrmazda, Jabala, Mouqa, Amoudia, Armanya, Kafrbatikh, Dadikh, Luf, Anqrati, Jobas, Sinan, Zakar, Tarnaba, Al Nayrab, Mardikh, Tal Mardikh, Kaddor and Ruwayha, the abandoned battalion, Al balaysa, Al-wasta, Kuweires, Tal Al-Aghar, Al-Mushirfa, Tawil Al Halib, Al Raqim, Jdaydet Al Khatra, Barissa, Al Hamamat, Tal Al-Sultan, Um Sharshouh, Al-Khashakish, Tal Ibrahim, Jabal al-Taweel, Sheikh Idris, Baja’as, Al Rayyan, Tal al-Rumman, Masa’ada, Ras al-Ain, Shoha, Kafar Amim and Tel Rehan.)
